This Privacy Policy describes how Hobbiest Holdings, Inc. ("Hobbiest," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you access or use the Hobbiest.ai platform — including our mobile applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). It also explains the rights and choices available to you regarding your information. We designed Hobbiest to help people reconnect with the things and people that make life worth showing up for. We take privacy seriously and aim to collect only what we need to make the Platform work well for you.

1. Information We Collect.

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: name, username, email address, password, phone number (if provided), date of birth, and other registration details.
• Profile information: hobbies, interests, gear, photos, bios, locations of interest, availability, and other content you add to your Hobbiest profile.
• User Content: posts, messages, AskGuru questions and answers, Closet Goals items, reviews, comments, photos, video, and audio you share through the Platform.
• Communications: messages and information you exchange with us when you contact support, respond to surveys, or participate in research.
• Payment information: if you purchase a subscription, our payment processor or the applicable app store will process your payment details. Hobbiest does not store full payment-card numbers.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, mobile carrier, browser, language, time zone, and crash reports.
• Usage information: features used, content viewed, time spent, click patterns, and other interactions with the Platform.
• Location information: approximate location (derived from your IP address) and precise location (only if you grant the Application location permission on your device).

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties such as social login providers (if you choose to sign in with a third-party account), payment processors, app stores, analytics partners, anti-fraud services, or other Users (for example, if they invite or report you).

2. How We Use Information.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Platform;
• Create and manage your Account and authenticate you;
• Personalize your experience, including hobby and User matching, recommendations, and AI Features;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions for Premium Features;
• Communicate with you about the Platform, your Account, security, and updates to our policies;
• Send marketing communications, with your consent where required by law;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our policies;
• Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and the rights of others;
• Conduct research and analytics to understand how the Platform is used and to develop new features.

2.1 Legal Bases (EU/UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation: (a) performance of a contract (to provide the Platform and your Account); (b) legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Platform, prevent fraud, and conduct analytics, in each case balanced against your rights and freedoms); (c) consent (for certain marketing, precise location, certain cookies, and other purposes where required); and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information.

We do not sell personal information for money. We share information only as described in this Privacy Policy:

• With other Users: information you choose to make visible in your profile, posts, and messages is visible to other Users in accordance with your settings. Some content is public by default; you can adjust visibility in Settings.
• Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, fraud prevention, communications, and other vendors that process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
• Payment processors and app stores: to process subscriptions and in-app purchases.
• Legal and safety: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law, lawful requests, protect Hobbiest's legal rights, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect the safety of Users or the public.
• Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections and notice where required by law.
• With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information.

4. AI Features and Automated Decision-Making.

We use automated systems and AI Features to personalize content, suggest matches, generate recommendations, and operate certain Premium Features. These systems may use information about your activity, preferences, and content. We do not use AI Features to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement. Where required by law, you may request human review of an automated decision.

5. Your Choices and Rights.

5.1 Your Choices

• Update your profile and preferences in Settings;
• Manage notifications, marketing emails, and in-app prompts in Settings or by following unsubscribe instructions;
• Manage device permissions (location, camera, contacts, notifications) through your device settings;
• Manage cookies through your browser or in-app cookie controls (see our Cookie Policy).

5.2 Account Deletion

You may delete your Account at any time in the Application (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or from the web at hobbiest.ai/delete-account. Deletion removes your profile and content from public view in the Platform. We may retain certain information as required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for limited backup, audit, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, in accordance with our retention schedule.

5.3 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

• Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share;
• Right to delete personal information we collect from you;
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
• Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent we "share" information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law, you may opt out by following the link Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in our website footer or by adjusting in-app advertising preferences;
• Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information;
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

You may exercise these rights by contacting us at support@hobbiest.ai or through the in-app Privacy Center. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information we maintain.

5.4 Other U.S. State Residents

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, please follow the instructions in Section 5.3.

5.5 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection (including to processing based on legitimate interests), and withdrawal of consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at support@hobbiest.ai.

5.6 Canada

Canadian residents have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and provincial laws including Quebec's Law 25, including the rights of access, correction, and withdrawal of consent.

6. International Data Transfers.

Hobbiest is headquartered in the United States, and information we collect may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we use legally recognized transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as required.

7. Data Retention.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and as otherwise described in our Retention Schedule. When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

8. Security.

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from the Platform.

9. Children.

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Individuals between 13 and 17 are also not permitted on the Platform; if we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete or disable their Account.

10. Apple App Tracking Transparency.

If you use the iOS Application, Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework requires us to request your permission before tracking you across other apps and websites owned by third parties. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

11. Changes to This Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Platform and update the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or in-app notification).
